Hospital 57357 receives the visit of a delegation of nurses from Africa interested in clinical nutrition for nursing

Within its pursuit to induce effective change in healthcare in this part of the world, Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from the nursing faculty of Cairo University that included a number of administrators and 17 trainees from ten African countries (Nigeria, Zambia, Senegal, North and South of Sudan, Malawi, Namibia, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana) to receive training on clinical nutrition methods.

The course started with a presentation about 57357 Hospital and Foundation by Myra Doss, Foundation’s publications manager  followed by a lecture on the latest clinical nutrition methods. Then, Mrs Kamar Ahmed, from 57357’s nursing department presented a lecture about the pivotal role of the nursing department in 57357.

During their training period the trainees were introduced to the different departments of the Hospital with a special focus on the kitchen and the nursing department. The trainees expressed their satisfaction with the training which, they shared, consolidated their skills. They  conveyed their desire to come back to attend more training courses in Egypt specially in 57357 which they described as a leading world renowned healthcare acheivement that is being operated by highly skilled professionals. The trainees were impressed by the high level performance of the nursing teem, and the concern of the Hospital for important details, namely clinical nutrition which is considered an important element in patients healing. While expressing their satisfaction with their experience in 57357, they said that they will go back to their countries to apply the advanced scientific techniques they were trained on and benefit their countries with their acquired knowledge.

It is noteworthy that at Hospital 57357,  many training courses in multiple healthcare fields including nursing, are provided annually for the benefit of healthcare professionals in Africa. The 57357 Institution is committed to providing training to African medical cadres to enhance the level of care and services to patients, especially in the field of cancer.
