Overview

Cancer is not only the changes in cells that you observe under the microscope. Bio-psychosocial approach of treatment is usually the ultimate care of such a disease, which carries a psychosocial burden before, during and even after cure of cancer. Our team is passionate about addressing all kinds of psychological and social needs of patients and families.

Biological factors include the genetic vulnerability to cancer, both pathological and clinical features, and response to treatment. Psychological factors include the burden of illness on children and families, threatening their mental health and can affect health related behaviors (e.g. compliance and adherence to treatment), and social factors like (e.g. social support, access to services).

Our goal is not only to cure the disease but also to offer the best quality of life to our children and families .
