Signing a cooperation protocol between Hospital 57357 and 6th of October University in the fields of training and research

Today, November 15, 2022, a cooperation protocol between the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 and 6th of October University was signed at the university’s premises, in attendance of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sami Ali, the University president, the CEO of 57357 Group and the Hospital’s General Manager, 57357 Foundation’s outreach to universities department, 57357 Group CEO Assistant, Deputy Director of Clinical Pharmacy and a group of members of the Hospital management and deans of faculties.

The protocol stipulates collaboration with the University’s different faculties in the areas of research, education and training including offering practical training on the usage of latest hospital equipment  aiming to prepare university students for joining the job market after graduation. During the meeting, the University announced a “charity week” initiative to support Hospital 57357’s children. This is a week for charitable activities in the University through which students are invited to donate in favor of the Hospital’s children.

It is noteworthy that this protocol is a continuation on the road of a previous collaboration  between 57357 and 6th of October University in the field of nurses training in 57357. Moreover, the Hospital welcomed multiple visits by students of pharmacy, Medicine, and physiotherapy faculties, to enable them to get acquainted with the operations of the Hospital’s departments. On another front, the University is offering  scholarships to 57357’s heroes who graduate from high school.

The Hospital welcomes to cooperate with 6th of October University  based on its commitment to playing a role in developing innovative education that depends on research and practical application. Hospital 57357’s family is expressing its gratitude to the University for the continuous cooperation and support that contributes to realizing the Hospital’s mission towards children with cancer.
