The Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation of youth from the Franciscan church in Egypt and accompanied by father Farid Kamal, the coordinator of Franciscan youth activities in Egypt. The youth came from all of Egypt’s governorates to visit our children and to draw a smile on their faces.
The choir of the Franciscan youth in Egypt organized singing shows where they engaged children in singing, and took pictures with them.
Father Kamal shared that 120 young boys and girls from all of Egypt’s governorates from Aswan to Alexandria came to visit our children. The youth are gathered once every year in a conference then they visit Hospital 57357. Over 9 years we welcomed this annual visit as part of the community participation to support our sick children and connect youth to humanitarian aspects.
Hospital 57357 treats children with cancer and alleviates their pains for free; they were able to raise substantially pediatric cancer survival rates and for this purpose they spend a lot of money, hence they need continuous support to continue their humanitarian mission, revealed father Kamal.
