Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga: we established the 57357 institution, inspired by the October victory spirit

Mrs. Gihan Alsadat: In 57357, I came across evidence-based practices, compassion and sense of belonging. I wish that every Egyptian would support this great institution
Alsadat’s daughters: we will never forget this visit, and we are proud of this institution.
Hospital 57357 welcomed Mrs. Gihan Alsadat, the wife of the departed leader Mohammed Anwar Alsadat, the hero of war and peace, to celebrate the anniversary of October victory with 57357’s children. She presented a donation to the hospital and the management decided to establish a charitable endowment in the name of the departed leader.
The visitors were welcomed by a large group of school students and priest Bolus Sorour.
In his address to our distinguished guests, Dr. Abouel Naga said: “ Alsadat was the model of a great leader. The October war was one of our biggest challenges which brought about victory and the restoration of our dignity. Inspired by the October victory spirit, we decided to take the risk, just as the leader Alsadat did, and we succeeded to establish this great hospital on Egyptian territory. We are successfully proceeding in our commitment to research work on an international level, in cooperation with leading international universities such as Harvard University. We also cooperate with Egyptian universities such as Zwail University. We are seeking a cancer free childhood, and have reached world survival rates in some types of cancer.”
Paying gratitude:
We remain forever grateful to all men and women who contributed to the establishment and success of the Hospital. We cannot forget Mrs. Suzanne Moubarak who presided the groundbreaking ceremony of the project and who always encouraged businessmen to support it without ever interfering in its management or its accounts .We cannot forget Dr. Fathi Sorour, who was then a member of parliament representing Alsayeda Zainab community. He helped us in getting the piece of land on which we built the hospital. Thanks to both of them, we were able to build the Hospital we are We also cannot forget all the Egyptians who supported us, such as Hagga Zohra, the arugula seller of very modest background, who donated 5 pounds, which were all the money she was able to save.
“When I entered this place, I felt positive energy, love, warmness and compassion radiate in every corner, said Mrs. Alsadat. Thank you for the warm welcome, and the love I felt from the moment I entered. I wish success for the great hospital, and wish that everyone would support it.All my life, I have been involved in social work. During the October war, I used to tour around all Egypt’s hospitals and though it was exhausting, the happiness it brought forth was greater than the exhaustion. Social work taught me that giving bring satisfaction and happiness, and that the more you give, the more God will bless you. Alsadat taught me that giving, friendship and people’s love are everlasting blessings. I remember his words when I see people who love him around the world, and when I saw your welcome in this place, she added.
Science coupled with Compassion:
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this great hospital, you succeeded to instill a sense of belonging in the hearts of all the workers of this place. I visited many hospitals outside Egypt, here I saw all the science I saw over there, coupled with compassion. I am proud of you and of medicine in Egypt, I am optimistic about Egypt’s future and President Al Sisi, he is a loyal man who loves Egypt, said Mrs. Alsadat. We have to endure a difficult stage in the life of our nation, and face the severe attack on Egypt, we will not overcome it unless we work together hand in hand.
He taught us to be strong:
Alsadat daughters stressed on how they were proud of the hospital and described the visit as unforgettable.
Lobna Alsadat: my father was very kind, he was keen to teach us to pray and fast since our childhood.
Noha Alsadat: my father was always busy, but raised us to love Egypt. He used to say, Egypt will be better, while mother was more strict as she had to take care of all of our affairs.
The young daughter Gihan said: my father was so strong, and enjoyed unwavering will and faith.
Differences at the service of progress:
Priest Bolus Sorour said: Alsadat was a champion of peace, as well as a hero of war. Currently, we need this peace and we need to learn to accept our differences. God made us different and our differences should lead to progress and not to destruction.
