The Hospital welcomed a big number of visits of churches youth who are accustomed to share with our children the joy of the feast and delight them with gifts. During the first day of the feast and the day before the Hospital welcomed 11 visits of churches from different parts of Cairo and governorates. From Suez we welcomed the youth of St. Guirguis Church who offered a generous donation, Angel Gabrial Church who donated blood and gave our children nice gifts, the 50th Church of God in Badran island, the apostle St. Mark Church who’s youth made monetary donations, the Virgin Mary and St. Luka Church in Embaba, St. Mark Church in Heliopolis who offered a donation and gifts to our children, St. Demiana and Bishiop Lukas Church who also delighted our patients with gifts, St. Guirguis Church in Elmenya who provided a generous donation and donated blood, St Guirguis Abu Wafya Church who held prayers in favor of our children’s healing and provided donation to the naming opportunity program and the Virgin and Angel Michael Church who offered a donation and handed out gifts to our children.
Awareness campaign by 57357 in the Virgin Mary Om Alnour Church in Almansoura
The religious institutions outreach unit together with a delegation from 557357’s “home without cancer” awareness team visited Virgin Mary Om Alnour Church in Almansoura and presented an awareness lecture about cancer prevention. They provided answers to the attendees’ inquiries as well as a brief about the Hospital and its mission of providing free quality care and cure to children with cancer. Arrangements were made with the religious institutions unit to plan a visit to the hospital and holding prayers in its church.
