Best Wishes for the Eid from the 57357 administration

As Eid El Adha or El Eid El Kebir is at our doorsteps, one is reminded that it is not just about the festivities and rituals associated with it.

The true meaning of Eid El Adha

As Eid El Adha or El Eid El Kebir is at our doorsteps, one is reminded that it is not just about the festivities and rituals associated with it, but mainly and more importantly about what it symbolizes, the act of sacrificing what one holds as most precious to one’s self.

And what is more  noble than sacrificing one’s own life for the safety and wellbeing of others? This Is what we encounter every day in every corner of the world, healthcare professionals braving the deadly corona disease and risking their lives in the process.

And we vividly remember our Healthcare professionals and Foundation staff leaving their homes, risking their lives to continue providing excellent care to our children with cancer and soliciting support and resources for the foundation during the past two months since the start of Ramadan during the peak of the pandemic. At the 57357 Institution, we too are grieving for the loss of dear colleagues who sacrificed their lives for the sake of others. Their memory will be forever engraved in our hearts

But amid these difficult and bleak times of crisis, a ray of hope brightens our day each time one of our patients is declared recovered, a loyal donor reaffirms its full support, or a regular blood donor hurries to cater to the needs of safe blood for our children.

Once again we are reminded that humanity is on a long journey for the triumph of life and the good news is that we are all in it together and it is only by joining efforts, and sacrifices that we will see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Have a blessed Eid El Adha!
