Marina: I wish to contribute to compensate for the shortage in donations, and I am getting ready to repeat the initiative

An effective idea and initiative to support 57357 by Marina Michael, a student of the American University in Cairo, AUC.

Marina is a student in the faculty of engineering, AUC, and an artist who loves painting. She makes bags and handicrafts, prints her paintings on them and sells them. Marina sensed the situation that 57357 was facing because of shortage in donations due to the Corona crisis. She decided to use her talent to support the Hospital’s children. She took the initiative of donating the outcome of selling her products throughout the month of September, in cooperation with the 57357 Foundation’s university outreach unit.

“I collected four thousand pounds in a month, and I decided not to stop at this point. I decided to spend a whole day with the children, I gathered a group of my friends and visited the children to entertain them and to give my donation” shared Marina

She added: My happiness exceeds the children’s happiness, as I believe that art has a role in bringing happiness to people. For the first time my paintings were a reason to make children happy. I am getting ready to repeat the experience.
