Patient monitoring device as an ongoing sadaka by 57357’s volunteers to support our children’s treatment journey

A nice initiative from our volunteers to offer a generous donation to cover the cost of a patient’s vital signs monitoring device.

A nice initiative from our volunteers to offer a generous donation to cover the cost of a patient’s vital signs monitoring device. They collected the money and paid it as an ongoing sadaka to support 57357’s children treatment journey. In the beginning of this week, one of the volunteers donated an infusion pump that regulates the rate of medication flow with accuracy and precision, avoiding humane mistakes and administering the medication to the child with utmost safety.

57357’s volunteers are known for their devotion to the cause of the children with cancer and their continuous giving since the Hospital’s inception. They save no effort to support our children specially during crisis. They are committed to supporting our children psychologically which is considered an important part of care, as it positively affects their acceptance for treatment and speeds up their recovery. This is besides the blood donations they provide to save our children’s lives.

It is noteworthy that our volunteers’ support covers 14 different activities. They support the children and contribute to completing many tasks in the Hospital. During the current week the volunteers department provided training for a new group of volunteers to start their volunteering activities and serve the Hospital’s children.

Our gratitude to our charity partners, 57357’s volunteers! Thanks to your efforts and compassion many children have overcome the fear of illness, and completed successfully their treatment journey.
