Through an initiative by the volunteers department to solicit and encourage their friends visit 57357’s children during the summer, the Hospital welcomed several visits by our volunteers and their peers during August 2021. While taking precautionary measures, they met with the children in the inpatient department, delighted them with lots of gifts, and provided generous money and blood donations, to contribute to our children’s treatment. Besides pursuing their summer entertainment activities for the patients, the volunteers shared in the art and handicraft workshops set up on each of the Hospital’s floors and in the daycare space where they drew, played and practiced different hobbies with the children
It is noteworthy that through 14 different activities, the Hospital’s volunteers department is engaging the community to play an active role in supporting the mission of the Hospital and lifting up the spirits of the sick children and their families.
