A delegation from Steignberger Altahreer visits 57357’s children and potential cooperation to support their treatment journey

    Hospital 57357 received a delegation from Steigenberger Altahreer Hotel that included Mr. Wael Mohamed, the Hotel general manager.

Hospital 57357 received a delegation from Steigenberger Altahreer Hotel that included Mr. Wael Mohamed, the Hotel general manager, his deputy Mr. Amr Alkilany and a group of the Hotel managers.

The guests were welcomed by Dr. Mohamed Aggag, head of the Hospital’s health information system department and a members of Hospital management. The Hospital’s children choir welcomed them with nice songs.

Dr. Aggag thanked the Hotel management for the prompt response to support our children. Through zoom Mrs. Hika Hotsch from the Hotel’s branch in Germany and employees from Cairo branch participated in the meeting.

The visit included the kitchen, the radiotherapy department, the daycare and the art therapy workshop where the guests shared our children drawing and coloring and delighted them with nice gifts.

The Hotel GM expressed his happiness with the visit and affirmed his intention to set up a charitable cooperation protocol with 57357 that will include multiple activities. He expressed his wish to extend this cooperation in the future to include other branches of the Hotel inside and outside Egypt.

The potential cooperation with Steigenberger will include providing awareness campaigns, blood donation drives, inviting our children to entertainment camps and sharing in the one pound donation program.

Mrs. Rania Atef, head of the regional marketing department of Steigenberger Hotels in Egypt revealed that their visit to 57357 reaffirmed their decision of choosing the Hospital as the beneficiary of  their corporate social responsibility. Their visit was an eye opener to the worthiness of the endeavor which needs to receive full support to be able to sustain the provision of quality care to helpless children with cancer. “We will pursue to extend the cooperation protocol to include all the Hotel’s branches”, said Mrs. Atef. Through zoom Ms. Hotsch from Germany expressed her pleasure for being part of the meeting in 57357, saying: we are proud of this initiative to support sick children and we wish them all recovery.
