In a nice celebration Hospital 57357 honored 38 of its patients who successfully passed high school exams for the year 2020/2021. The celebration was under the patronage of the Hospital’s charity partner, the Housing and Development Bank, in attendance of a delegation from the bank, Dr. Rafeda Askar , director of Modern School Egypt 2000, MSE 2000, Eng. Rami and Ms. Amira sons of Eng Abdel Wahab Ragheb, owner of MSE2000, Also present at the celebration were head of New Cairo Rotary Club and her deputy, representatives of Cairo, Giza and Sayeda Zeinab educational administration and deputy general manager of public, private, experimental and international school education in Cairo. The guests were welcomed by Hospital 57357’s medical director, head of the 57357 Foundation’s schools outreach department and a group of Hospital management members.
The celebration started with a word from the Hospital’s medical director who thanked all the Hospital’s supporters for sharing its patients their joy of success . The head of the schools’ outreach department thanked the celebration sponsor, the Housing and Development Bank for supporting the students, and MSE 2000 for their efforts in safeguarding their future as they help them pursue their studies during their treatment period. He also thanked New Cairo Rotary Club for sharing our patients their joy of accomplishment.
In her speech Dr. Askar congratulated 57357’s students for their success and achievement saying: “just as 57357 was a dream that came true, 57357’s school was a dream that we worked hard to realize, thanks to the cooperation between 57357 and MSE 2000 since 2008, 57357 school being the first in- Hospital school in the Middle East and North Africa “. 57357 school operates under the supervision of MSE 2000 and follows Alsayeda Zeinab educational administration.
Honoring 57357’s charity partners
In gratitude for the efforts exerted by charity partners to uphold the academic future of 57357’s patients academic future, certificates of appreciation were presented to the Housing and Development Bank, the representatives of the different educational administrations, New Cairo Rotary Club and Dr. Askar the director of MSE 2000. On the Hospital’s sixth floor, besides 57357 school, the Hospital offered a plaque as naming opportunity for the departed Eng. Abdel Wahab Ragheb in gratitude for his efforts in supporting 57357’s patients through MSE 2000, and his zakat donations which resulted in offering the Hospital 30 infusion pumps.

At the end of the celebration, the Housing and Development Bank offered all students a savings certificate to contribute to supporting their future. New Cairo Rotary Club gave the students in-kind gifts. The Hospital is grateful to the Bank and the club for their generosity .
Chatting with one of our students, Basma Sabry, who scored 79.7%, in high school exams, she expressed her happiness saying: God offered me healing and thanks to the Hospital I shall realize my dream and join healthcare institute. Peter Hani another brilliant student with a score of 77% said : “I don’t remember that I was sick, I just know that I am very well now, and am so happy for succeeding and getting honored by 57357, my second home, as I received a scholarship and will join the Faculty of Engineering.
Every child in 57357 is a hero who is fighting cancer with no fear, and with determination to achieve all of his dreams.
