In cooperation with Hospital 57357, a scientific forum for the students and graduates of University of Helwan’s Nursing Faculty

    Hospital 57357 organized a scientific forum through its continuous education department and on campus of Nursing Faculty, Helwan University.

Asserting its leadership in training nurses to improve the delivery of quality care in Egypt, Hospital 57357 organized a scientific forum through its continuous education department and on campus of Nursing Faculty, Helwan University.

A large number of students and graduates attended the forum where a group of 57357’s specialists presented lectures about the important role of nursing as a vital component of healthcare delivery to children with cancer. Presentations also tackled the importance of research in the field of nursing, training programs in the field of research, the role of the research nursing unit in Hospital 57357 in determining the priorities with respect of nursing research studies. Another lecture presented international training programs provided by 57357’s training and education department to prepare qualified cadres, improve nursing skills and give nurses from inside and outside the Hospital the chance to receive advanced training and accredited certificates. The forum was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Safaa Ismael, the faculty dean, with the participation of Dr. Afaf Salah, the faculty vice dean for post graduate studies affairs.

Hospital 57357’s continuous education department offers a sustainable digital platform to transfer knowledge and innovative practical training using latest international training programs, which contribute to enhancing the healthcare provided to children with cancer.

It is noteworthy the collaboration of 57357 with the Faculty of Nursing, Helwan University is extending for a good number of years backed by a cooperation protocol between the two entities. Through this protocol, groups of the faculty graduates receive training in 57357 to become the Hospital’s agents in transferring the skills they have received to the hospitals and health centers where they will work.

In 57357 we pursue to apply the latest in the healthcare field and to seek cooperation opportunities with universities inside and outside Egypt, especially in the field of health informatics which enables timely and accurate provision of patient information and empowers nurses to perform their tasks with utmost efficiency and accuracy.
