To each cancer fighter in 57357: don’t let anything defeat you, stick to the hope inside, continue to fight the cancer, and pray to God to grant us healing.
While a year is about to end and a new one is about to begin we cherish this message that was written by one of 57357’s heroines. Filled with hope in a better future, Basmala, a student in the first year of the faculty of education, psychology department from Alsharqueya, was admitted to 57357 in March 2021, and is still receiving treatment. She wrote a message to each hero in 57357, and every kind heart who supported her:
To each and every child in 57357, don’t let anything defeat you. Our illness will come to an end, God willing, and we will survive and become stronger, not just in the face of our treatment journey, but also everything else in life. Don’t be sad, the harsh days will let you know how much people around you love you, and your patience will make you stronger. You will be considered forever heroes even after your ordeal because you were able to overcome all the challenges. You are the hero of your story, and you are a model for others. At the start of my illness I was scared but in 57357 I learned to be strong, I learned that for every problem there is a solution and that if I am strong I’ll defeat my illness.
Keep the hope and positive energy so that you can continue the fight and defeat cancer, and pray to God to grant us healing. To everyone who supported us I express my heartfelt gratitude, and wish you happy New Year filled with God’s infinite blessings.
