Hospital 57357’s volunteers department delights our children with the annual celebration of the New Year

    The volunteers department, held a celebration on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, for the Hospital’s patients, their families and 100 volunteers.

As is customary, the volunteers department, held a celebration on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year, for the Hospital’s patients, their families and 100 volunteers. The celebration included a funny play provided by volunteers besides entertainment shows that delighted our children who participated in singing.

Gifts were offered to all attending children. Addressing the audience, Mrs. Dina Ali, head of the volunteers department thanked all volunteers for their support and kindness towards the children, highlighting their role in alleviating the burden of the treatment on patients and encouraging them to pursue their charitable work during the coming year to make more children happy and comfortable during their stay at the Hospital.

At the end of the celebration a distinct group of volunteers were acknowledged with certificates of appreciation for their role in providing psychological support to the children.

Volunteers started the day by decorating the Hospital for Christmas and New Year where children joined them in putting the ornaments on the Christmas tree. Gifts were offered to children and to staff creating a joyful and festive environment.

It is noteworthy that the volunteers department was established since the beginning of the Hospital operation with the goal of encouraging the society to play an active role in supporting Hospital 57357 and providing moral support to sick children.

Through 14 different activities, volunteers maximize efforts to engage children in programs that would lift up their spirits and improve their psychological condition.
