Hager Elgendi

I am Hager Elgendi, an alumni at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. I had the pleasure of completing an elective rotation at the 57537 Children Cancer Hospital in 2018. This is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. I had the great honor of witnessing breakthrough work in the integration of pharmacogenomics in chemotherapy treatment. The hospital also offers an array of services to accommodate patient and family needs including transportation, housing, psychiatry counseling, and arts. Every staff member knows the children by name and greet them warmly as they enter the hospital doors. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this great experience.
