In hospital 57357’s ad, the actress Yusra invited people to donate to the Hospital’s children with cancer. She affirmed that she participated, along with all Egyptians, in building the great Hospital more than 20 years ago and stressed on the importance of the continuity in supporting the Hospital to enable it to resume its mission and complete the work that we started together. She revealed that, despite the tough circumstances the Hospital is facing because of the drop in the amount of donations, it is fighting to pursue its mission of treating children’s cancer for free and reaching world survival rates.
In her ad, the renowned artist says: The first shoveling to build Hospital 57357 started more than 20 years ago. We all shared in building the great Hospital and we will carry on its support journey.Imagine yourself in the place of any mother or father of a child with cancer, What if, God forbid, they do not find a place to treat their children
Thanks be to God and to your donations, the Hospital was able to resume its mission despite all difficult circumstances. We want to reach world survival rates, relying on research and latest equipment. Donate to help Egypt’s children, so that we would carry on what we had started together. Seeing our children laughing again is worth a great deal to us.
The ad is produced by the 57357 Foundation’s media department and directed by one of its members, the promising Mohamed Adel. The Hospital expressed gratitude to Yusra for contributing to participate in the ad.
It is noteworthy that, few months ago, after spreading news about the possibility of shutting down the Hospital because of dwindling resources, the actress Yusra sent a message to her followers inviting them to support Hospital 57357, through a video that she published on her official Instagram page. She did so as a response to the actor Amr Youssef’s initiative to support the Hospital.
