Hospital 57357 welcomed a delegation from the Egyptian Union for Judo, Aikido and Sumo, headed by Major General Tarek Ezz, Vice CEO of the Union, captain marzouk Mohamed, president of the union, captain Ahmed Atef, head of the competition committee and a group of Egyptian Judo players. The guests were welcomed by Mr. Ahmed Abdel Monaem, head of Hospital 57357’s public relations and Mr. Emad Ewais, head of exhibitions and sportive activities department.

The visit included a tour in the Hospital’s sections such as the day care, clinical pharmacy and clinics where they got acquainted with the efforts exerted by the Hospital to offer the best care and treatment to children with cancer.

Major General Ezz expressed his happiness with the visit saying, “it is a pleasure to tour the Hospital, what I’ve seen today is a dream come true. This is not my first visit to the Hospital, what draw my attention is that there is no favoritism in the Hospital and all children receive the same high quality care with no discrimination. We are proud to have such a Hospital in Egypt”.

The care and treatment offered to children here are source of pride, I wish that everyone would come to the Hospital to see for himself the compassionate care offered to children, said Captain Mohamed. The way the work team here is taking care of the patients is a source of pride; children are receiving their treatment by a professional dedicated team, said Captain Hatem Abdel Akhar, former Judo player.

We noticed how devoted the work team is  and attentive and concerned about all treatment details, each member of the work team does his job professionally with dedication, said captain Mohamed Ali, the team trainer. While Mahmoud Fayad said: “children here are real heroes, and the Hospital gives attention to every detail, may God reward them”.

At the end of the visit, the union trophy was offered to the Hospital in appreciation of its humanitarian mission, and they also offered a generous donation to support the cyberknife.
