In recognition of nurses’ contribution to healthcare provision and international health safety, the world celebrates international nurses day on May 12th. In 2023, international nurses day is celebrated under the slogan “our nurses, our future” to express gratitude to nurses around the world.

During last year, the Hospital signed cooperation protocols with 10 nursing faculties, to offer training to their graduates. For the fourth time, 57357’s nursing continuous professional development unit received accreditation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, ANCC, which is one of the world biggest nurses credentialing organizations, until 2024. The Hospital welcomes weekly visits of the Egyptian nursing faculties and delegations from foreign nursing faculties, to acquaint them with new developments in the field of care provided to children with cancer.
Hospital 57357 is also encouraging its nursing team to contribute to research work through the nursing research unit, for more development and innovation in the administration of care based on latest scientific theories. The Hospital aims to offer nurses the chance to be an effective member of the medical team, to provide better care to children with cancer in order to raise the survival rate.
