Hospital 57357 welcomed Dr. Abdel Gawad Hashem, Microbiology and immunology professor, and vice dean of the College of Pharmacy, British University, on his first visit to the Hospital. The aim of the visit is to discuss potential collaboration between the Hospital and the college. Dr. Hashem was welcomed by the representative of the continuous education and development administration, who took him on a tour of the Hospital’s different sections, namely the clinical pharmacy , labs, research department, cyberknife, the daycare and the art therapy recreation center. He was impressed by the advanced technology in all departments, which contribute to offering the best care to children with cancer.
After touring the Hospital he met with Dr. Manal Zamzam, head of 57357’s continuous education administration, and a group of doctors in the administration. During the meeting they discussed future cooperation between the Hospital and the college of pharmacy, to exchange experiences and benefit from Hospital 57357’s experience in clinical pharmacy.
