During the month of July 2017, the 57357 community will commemorate the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 10th anniversary, as a leading institution in the fight against childhood cancer in Egypt, the Middle East and Africa.
Opening its doors to the public on July 7th, 2007, the Hospital has been offering children with cancer hope in cure and a brighter future, ushering in a new era in the provision of free quality comprehensive care without discrimination. Throughout its 10 years of operation, staff and administration have been exerting their utmost to pursue quality and excellence in performance so as to improve over-all survival rates to reach world cure records. The fruit of their labor soon became visible as the Hospital was able to position itself as one of the world’s leading charitable centers fighting cancer in children. The Hospital quickly became the symbol of change in the healthcare field in Egypt because it is based on evidence based practices and sound and efficient planning.
The future still holds a great deal for the 10 year old Hospital, which has recently embarked on a mega expansion journey that would transform it into a health Sciences Campus. In order to realize its ambitious vision of a cancer-free childhood, 57357 has already launched the construction of a number of new facilities which increase both its programs and admission capacity. Most importantly, this future expansion will ensure its sustainability as well as its future development as a training and learning organization and an international hub for researchers.

Today 10 years have passed since our dream, the one that all Egyptians shared in realizing, came to light 10 most challenging years during which, thanks to your support, we have established for our children the 57357 world where best quality care and treatment are provided free of charge10 years during which hope in cure for thousands of our children with cancer was restored as well as rejoicing for their families
10 years during which charitable partners are continuously extending support, companies, institutions, banks, schools, factories, standing beside Egypt’s children wishing them well through their visits and generous donations
10 years during which patriotic Egyptians living abroad have been there for our children, supporting 57357 by providing medication, latest equipment, and donations in favor of realizing the new expansions
10 years during which our army and police forces have been genuinely supportive, instilling in our children love and pride for the country’s heroes as well as a sense of safety
10 years during which thousands of young men and women volunteers contributed to brighten the children’s healing journeys and exerted much effort to alleviate their pains
10 years during which we were able to offer our children the latest in treatment technologies and our competent physicians to accomplish miracles in surgeries and treatment
10 years of research and treatment protocols development in order to get closer to world recovery rates
10 years that witnessed the development of 57357 as a learning organization and a platform for the dissemination of knowledge. Through its training academy, hundreds of healthcare professionals from within and outside Egypt are receiving training that would enable them to be change agents in their communities.
10 years during which 57357 administration has been boosting Egypt’s relationship with the Nile basin countries through knowledge and expertise exchange, with unprecedented support of the ministry of external affairs
10 years that witnessed the establishment of 57357 as a prominent healthcare center recognized by top world healthcare authorities and organizations
10 years during which we still dream to expand to be able to take in all of Egypt’s children with cancer and offer the best treatment and care are continuing in order to establish new expansions that will offer health services to more Egyptians
10 years of providing the physical and psychological care our children deserve, through art therapy and medical psycho- social care and services
10 years during which tens of 57357’s survivors passed high school exams with excellence and joined top Egyptian and foreign universities with the support of the ministry of education and charitable donors.
10 years that witnessed the growth of 57357’s dedicated work team, which was determined to cross all obstacles in favor of our children’s health and comfort
10 years during which the 57357 Institution was affirming the importance of the role of civil society organizations in community development until it became a role model for many non-profit organizations
10 years during which the “home without cancer” campaign that 57357 initiated was contributing to spreading awareness about cancer causes in the society, since our mission is not just the provision of treatment but also protection and prevention
10 years of struggle, challenges, determination, and knowledge-seeking by an endeavor that was blessed with the support and backing of all charitable people until it became a blessing and praise worthy achievement on the national and international levels.
