Time and Again, we the staff of Hospital 57357 are touched by the faithfulness and generosity of the Hospital’s initial founders and charitable partners. A member of the Ghabbour family, Ms Nelly Ghabbour, sister in law of the late beloved Ola ghabbour, former secretary general of the 57357 foundation, moves us by her kind and generous initiative:  inviting all her friends to a big luncheon party on Oct, 21st,, some 100 ladies of the Society of whom she specifically requested not to come with any presents but instead to make a contribution to three charity organizations among which Hospital 57357

Coincidently, this occurred 20 days before our celebration of the 10 years of operation of 57357, an event we organized to purposefully pay tribute and gratitude to all the Hospital’s initial founders and charitable partners . With this recent initiative, the Ghabbour family is expressing once again their on-going solidarity and support to 57357, extending beyond the parting of Mrs. Ola Ghabbour, its co-founder.

It is noteworthy that the Ghabbour Family’s history of involvement with Hospital 57357 goes way back before it was even conceived. This prominent large family has greatly contributed to innovations and  upgrading of services at the National Cancer Institute to improve the care of cancer patients. In this respect, we recall the valuable contributions of the late Iman and her sister Hadia Ghabbour, daughters of the late Sadek Ghabbour to establish the new pediatric oncology out-patient clinic at the NCI.

Mrs. Ola Ghabbour, co-founder of Hospital 57357 and former Secretary General of the 57357 Foundation was among the first members and founders of AFNCI , the Association committed to the support of NCI back then. The Raouf Ghabbour Family: Mrs Ola Ghabbour and her husband, renowned businessman Raouf Ghabbour, were among the first to contribute to the seed money for the start of the building of the Hospital. Over the years, their generous contributions and those of their children have never stopped.

We the staff and management of the 57357 Institution are short of adequate words to express our recognition and gratitude to this esteemed family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all what you have done and continue to do for the sake of the children with cancer.
