The departed artist Mohamed Wafiq’s brothers offered a generous donation as an ongoing sadaka in his name to continue what the artist started years ago of support for 57357’s children and to implement his will.

The departed artist’s giving journey started in 2014, when he visited the Hospital, toured its sections and expressed his appreciation for the high level integrated services provided to children for free. During his visit he had expressed that the Hospital needs the entire society’s efforts, and that charity trusts and ongoing sadaka are important sources of charitable funds that will enable stable source of revenues to spend on treatment and on the expansions. He sent a message to all people of benevolence saying, “the Hospital provides great services for sick children, but unfortunately the disease is spreading and the Hospital capacity is limited, we should support 57357 to enable it to serve more children”. Back then, the artist held a charity auction for the jewelry of his departed wife, the artist Kawthar AL-Assal and donated its revenues to 57357. The artist passed away in March 2015 and left a will for his family to pursue the giving for the Hospital’s children.

May God bless the artist Wafiq’s soul and thanks for his family for continuing the charity journey in favor of 57357’s children with cancer.

When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)”.
