Hospital 57357 receives The OPEC Fund for International Development, (OFID)’s 2015 Annual Award for Development:
This comes as recognition of 57357 works in alleviating the suffering of children and its dedication in fighting cancer and achieving adequate treatment facilities. The Award, which is granted with a US$100,000 prize, was declared on the sidelines of the 36th session of the Ministerial Council. The Council Chairman, the Chairman of the Governing Board and the Director-General presented the award to the Hospital in Vienna at the end of July 2015 The Ambassador of Egypt to Austria, Khaled Shamaa, received the Award on behalf of the 57357 Group
In appreciation for 57357’s humanitarian role and work at the service of the community, it was awarded the 2014 “Al-Sharka prize for volunteer work” on the Arab region level and institutions category .The setting up of the award takes place under the patronage of his highness Dr. Al-Sheikh Sultan Ben Mohamed Al-Kasmy, El-Sharka ruler and supreme council member
Hospital 57357 the receipt of the ISO accreditation 22000:2005 on March, 13th, 2010 in Food Safety Management Procedures. The hospital is proud to be the first ever in the Middle East region to receive this certification; in tune with its concern to offer its patients the best standards of comprehensive healthcare.
The certification body confirmed that hospital 57357 is offering its patients 165 nutritional items free from any harmful bacteria on a daily basis. Also present at this event were Consultants, Dr. Alaa Naguib and Dr. Doria Aly from the Public Authority for Standards and Quality. The ISO accreditation is renewed periodically.

The CCHE 57357 is awarded the World Health Organization’s UAE Health Foundation 2008 Prize.
In a grand award ceremony held at the Assembly Hall of the Palais des Nations in Geneva, His Excellency, Dr. Hamid El Katamy , Health Minister of the United Arab Emirates presented the World Health Organization’s United Arab Emirates Health Foundation 2008 Prize to the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation Egypt 57357.
The prize was received by Mrs. Ola Ghabbour, the Foundation’s Secretary General on behalf of Mrs. Suzanne Moubarak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation. Also present at the ceremony were Dr.Margaret Chan, Director General of WHO, Dr. Leslie Ramsammy, President of the World Health Assembly, and the representatives of more than 190 nations.
The Emirates Minister of Health welcomed all the guests at the ceremony, which is held annually with the purpose of honoring and acknowledging physicians , institutions or renowned personalities, for their outstanding contribution to the medical field, and their assistance to the WHO in health development and the preservation of health and safety of the human race. The United Arab Emirates Health Foundation Prize was instituted in 1993 by the late Sheikh Zayed Ben Sultan Al Nahian with the firm conviction of the necessity to support the work of the WHO worldwide, so as to be able to ensure to each and every citizen of the world his or her right to decent health and sanitation standards.
Among the previous winners of this award are: Hillary Clinton in 1998, Professor Magdi Yacoub, Renowned Cardiac Surgeon in 2002, and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2007.
CCHE 57357 is in the architectural showcase for hospital design in the prestigious “Healthcare Design” architectural journal. One aspect is the design and architecture of the facility for which were chosen to be included among the seven children’s hospital architectural showcases in the September 2007 issue of the prominent hospital design magazine entitled ”Healthcare Design”.
