Hospital 57357 obtains the Joint Commission International accreditation, JCI, for the third consecutive time after qualifying for 1200 quality standards.

Dr. Almenyawi revealed that 57357 received the JCI accreditation after it was found qualifying for 1200 quality standards. Granting the accreditation by the international committee depends on two parts: the first is concerned with international standards for patient’s safety, for the administration of treatment and care, evaluating surgical, anesthesia, and infection control procedures, managing medications and providing awareness to patients and families, said Dr. Almenyawi.

The second part deals with the efficient management of the healthcare institution, data and information, human resources and facilities. Hence, granting JCI accreditation to a healthcare institution means that this institution is performing well on medical, managerial and leadership levels.

During this chat, we will be acquainted with the details of the JCI accreditation conditions, and the role of the quality control department in Hospital 57357.
