Today, 20/5/2022, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Hospital and the Faculty of Pharmacy, New Mansoura University, in attendance of Dr. Meouad Mohamed Alkholi, the University president, Dr. Abouel naga, the executive director of the 57357 group and the Hospital’s general manager, Dr. Nahed El-Anani, dean of the Faculty, Dr. Sherif Kamal, head of 57357’s clinical pharmacy and head of clinical pharmacy training programs, Prof. Dr. Rami Aziz, head of 57357’s immunity research unit, Dr. Fatema Abu Elghait, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Azhar University and Dr. Sameh Saad, head of 57357’s tumor biology unit.

The protocol signing was witnessed by a group of the Hospital’s pharmacists, a group of students of pharmacy Faculty, New Mansoura University and a group of students of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Al-Azhar University. The protocol includes cooperation in research, education and benefiting from the Hospital’s experience in clinical pharmacy.

In his speech, Hospital 57357’s general manager welcomed the attendees and highlighted the important role of the pharmacist in the Hospital where clinical pharmacy is an integrated system that includes 32 specializations. He revealed that activating the pharmacist’s role is one of the Hospital’s most important pursuits towards raising cure rates. A group of 57357’s pharmacists in different specialties shared their experience in clinical pharmacy.

This is not my first visit to the Hospital, every time I come to the facility, I find changes in the infrastructure, equipment, and improvement in care provided to children and treatment protocols, revealed Prof. Dr. Alkholi. 57357 is a world standard institution in the land of Egypt and a leading model for a charitable healthcare facility operating according to international standard levels, he added.

 “What you should learn from 57357 is that we all work for the benefit of sick children, through high quality care, smart education and research,” revealed Dr. Sherif Kamal, head of the Hospital’s pharmacy department.

The father of Mira Magued, one of 57357’s patients shared the following: I discovered my daughter’s brain tumor only four days ago. Here in 57357 I found humane and compassionate care and reassurance that my daughter is in safe hands. The quality care provided by the Hospital is of the same level as the one of world renowned hospitals; I am sure now that our donations to 57357 go to the right place.

At the end of the visit the guests visited the clinical pharmacy with its departments to see the Hospital’s leading experience in putting theory into practice.
