Our department offers the latest imaging modalities through our up to date CT scanners & MRI software

• CT scan

our Siemens CT scanners with 64 and 128 detectors used to generate cross-sectional views, 3D images of different body organs ,as well as detailed vascualr imaging (angiography) constitute what is known as Seimens oncology care which helps in screening, diagnosis and follow up in cancer patients.

The scanners provide high image quality through:

• The “Siemens CARE Dose 4D AEC system” which helps to optimize the image quality through monitoring radiation dose in correlation with different body weights.
• SAFIRE which achieves significant radiation dose reduction while improving image quality as regards contrast, sharpness and noise.


• MRI

We have a Siemens 1.5 T and philips 3T MRI scanners ; both being used for obtaining superlative imaging studies ranging from usual MRI studies for diagnosis and monitoring chemotherapy effect to the more specific studies for cardiac imaging, dynamic studies, as well as functional MRI studies used in neuroimaging.



• Sonomammography

We have top rate early detection package using newest sonography/mammography machines for our female imaging unit, combined with DEXA scan for surplus service out patients.
