Inpatient Care Center

  • A nursing team is assigned to the In-patient Care center (ICC) to administer therapeutic treatment to in-patients across the 5th to the 9th floor, each floor includes 5 rooms between single and double. The in-patient section’s working hours are 24/7, and the ratio of patients/nurses is 3/1.

  • Patients needing intrathecal administration and bone marrow aspiration are admitted in the procedure unit, which consists of two rooms for minor procedures and recovery. The unit to which are assigned 3 nurses is operating 7 days a week from 8am to 8 pm. and receives 25 to 30 patients daily.

  • There are 2 nurses in the Day care who provide patient assessment and administer different treatments such as chemotherapy, hydration, long-term antibiotic therapy. This unit is operating one shift a day, 6 days a week from 8am to 8 pm except Friday.

  • There is a transportation service between the mother hospital and the ICC building with an equipped ambulance to transport children to and from the hospital throughout the treatment period.

  • As primary care givers for the patient and family, 57357-ICC nursing care team possesses the knowledge and the ability to perform all duties required of a nurse and beyond to make sure patients are as comfortable as possible. Nurses are compassionate, empathetic, and respectful of the patients, and their family members, dealing with patients of many different ethnicities, religions, and social backgrounds and communicating honestly to convey any relevant medical information.
