Pediatric Oncology Intensive Care Unit

Most of pediatric oncology patients need intensive supervision and care. We have highly equipped Intensive Care Unit (ICU) located on the second floor is available 24/7 hours to provide intensive care of these critically ill pediatric oncology patients. Our scope of work includes the handling of acute decompensation of various organ systems, including multiorgan system failure.

Our goal is not limited to improving outcomes and decreasing mortality, but it expands to improving the morbidity of malignancies and side effects of chemotherapies and radiotherapy also limiting cross infection and ICU related complications. This can be achieved through the implementation of strict & updated ICU protocols and infection control polices. Multidisciplinary teamwork is the most important aspect of our practice and we are committed to continuously improving performance to provide the most efficient service for our patients.
