The Radiotherapy department offers a two- week observership will be offered by Radiotherapy department. It will be provided to undergraduate Medical physicists’ students, during this observership, the intern will observe the daily physicist routine work. Also it will be oriented to the advanced treatment planning techniques and quality assurance of the delivery machines.

By the end of the program, the intern will achieve the following objectives:


• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the role of medical physicists in the field of radiation oncology.
• Exhibit proficiency in implementing quality control measures for radiation delivery, both for patients and radiation machines.
• Acquire a thorough understanding of clinical treatment planning methodologies
