This training is designed to help participants to form a solid foundation of experience in radiation oncology, through observing the daily work routine, departmental operations, and safety practices of working with the radiation producing equipment.

By the end of this training, the intern will be able to:

  1. Understand the basic radiation therapy principles & its procedures
  2. Do basic radiation therapy calculations
  3. Recognize the simulation procedures
  4. Understand the latest updates in radiation technologies and how it is applied
  5. identify the safe radiation protection practices & SOPS
  6. Evaluate radiobiological effects, reactions and therapeutic response of treatment
