Asserting its leadership in training nurses to improve the delivery of quality care in Egypt, Hospital 57357 witnessed the signing of cooperation protocols with 7 nursing faculties: Damanhour, Almansoura, Helwan, 6th of October, Port Saeed, Southern valley and Tanta. The protocol signing was done in attendance of the executive director of the 57357 group and the Hospital’s general manager who delivered the following message: “We need to be updated with latest technologies and be opened to cooperate with universities outside Egypt”. We should be eager to apply health information systems to maintain accurate data about patients and support nurses to enable them to perform their mission accurately and perfectly. The Hospital welcomes the sharing of experiences and the cooperation with nursing faculties, to raise nurses’ qualifications and the healthcare system in general, he added.

It is noteworthy that the protocol stipulates training groups of graduates where each faculty selects a group of its graduates to spend their residency year in 57357. A committee from the Hospital will select 25 students from each faculty to give them training, where a training program is being prepared for them. The trainees will be allotted to the various Hospital departments, where the training includes hands-on exercises under the supervision of 57357’s nursing training , and the follow up of their faculties. A monthly evaluation will be conducted for each student with the follow up of their faculty deans. After the end of the training, trainees become agents for Hospital 57357 to transfer the experiences they gained to the hospitals and health centers they will work for.

Nursing is an integral part of the healthcare system, and Hospital 57357 is always keen to offer international training programs to prepare well-qualified nurses.
