Dr. Almehresawi: “Celebrating Prophet Mohammed’s anniversary in 57357 is considered a feast for me. My gratitude to the staff of the Hospital for the efforts they exert in taking excellent care of the sick children”

Hospital 57357 held a celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohamed, where we were honored by the visit of a delegation from Al-Azhar University headed by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussain Almehresawi, president of Al-Azhar University and included the vice-president and a group of professors. Invited at the celebration were  priest Bolus Sorour, a delegation of students of the Islamic Charitable Association Preparatory School for boys, Future Knights School and a group of universities’ students. Our guests were welcomed by the Hospital CEO and members of Hospital management.

The celebration started with Sheikh Eihab Youness’s  Quran recitation which was much enjoyed by all attendees. To celebrate this special day,  the Sheikh read verses of Al-Fath that started by the verse: It is He Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion: and enough is Allah for a Witness. In his speech, Prof. Almehresawi said: today I am celebrating many occasions,  being in 57357 is one of them. My gratitude and appreciation for 57357 staff as they exert so much effort seeking appreciation from no one but God.

Prof. Almehresawi mentioned Alrawda Mosque terrorism attack in Al Areesh and said: terrorism has no religion or homeland, what happened was an evil act. They wanted to see no worshipers, and to silence all prayers. We need to be united in the face of terrorism, extremism and whoever attacks Egypt’s people and army. At the end of his speech, he wished recovery for all of our children.

In his address, Priest Bolus shared that the triangle of human relationships is based on God, oneself and the others, and the person who denies that and has anger in himself is an enemy of everyone. Last year we witnessed the St. Peter Church bombing during the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed, this year, it was the turn of Alrawda mosque to be hit on the same occasion, which means that terrorism is everyone’s enemy.

Students of the Islamic Charitable Association Preparatory School celebrated the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed with their brothers in 57357, and provided generous donation as contribution to their treatment.

To celebrate the occasion in their own way, the school and university students chose to rejoice with their brothers in 57357. Lead by Saif Abdel Fatah, the students donated amounts of 2 to three pounds each, from their allowance, to contribute to their brothers’ treatment journey.

The visitors toured the hospital and shared our children the celebration of this special occasion.

Words of gratitude go to our students in schools and universities for their on-going support to 57357’s children.
