Hospital 57357 welcomed Mrs. Nabila Demerdash, president of innerwheel club of North Cairo accompanied by Dr. Hanaa Farid, former consultant of the 57357 Group, who visited to offer a donation on behalf of the club to support our children’s treatment. Innerwheel club of North Cairo is one of the first charity partners who supported 57357 since its inception. The start of the relationship was 13 years ago when they donated the cost of an equipped room in the emergency department, then they pursued the support through members’ visits, donations and participation in the Hospital’s activities.
Today, the club donated the cost of an infusion pump, which is responsible for the administration of chemotherapy treatment. The pump depends on a closed system to avoid human mistakes as it precisely adjusts the flow rate over a specified length of time to guaranty patient safety.
Mrs. Demerdash expressed her delight with the visit and said: what I have seen today of world standard of care provided to all sick children despite their large number is wonderful. I am inviting all charity lovers to support this great project which is standing firm in the face of all the challenges such as the Corona virus. Despite the increasing number of patients, the Hospital is able to provide high quality care to sick children coming from different social classes, equally. I promise to visit again to provide more support to contribute to the cost of treatment of the children, she added.
