Yesterday, 9/3/2023, Hospital 57357 welcomed a large delegation from Lions club comprised of Eng. Mohamed Bedair, Lions area governor, Ms. Noha Ebada Degheidy, head of Cosmopolitan Heliopolis Lions club and a group of club members. The guests were welcomed by Ms. Souzan Alsayad, head of the  CSR & events section of the 57357 Foundation.

The delegation met with Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga, 57357 Group CEO and the Hospital general manager, who highlighted the efforts exerted by the Hospital, relying on research, to reach world survival rates. He presented the challenges that the Hospital faces to offer the best quality care and treatment to children equally, for free. He thanked them for their continuous support to the Hospital that enables it to pursue its commitment towards children with cancer. The guests toured the outpatient clinics, the pharmacy and the art therapy recreation center where they met with the patients and expressed their admiration for what the comprehensive care the Hospital is offering despite the challenges it faces. Eng. Bedair expressed his happiness with the visit saying; “this is my first visit to the Hospital, and I am happy for the high level of services offered to children for free and for the Hospital’s efforts to keep going despite the economic challenges it faces. We promise 57357’s children to keep supporting them as much as we can, and to visit again”. At the end of the visit, the Lions club offered a generous donation to support our children’s treatment.

It is noteworthy that Lions club, with its different branches, are our charity partners, since they have always been there to support 57357 with donations, and to visit our children. Our gratitude to Eng. Bedair, Ms. Deghwidy and the accompanying delegation for the visit and donation.
