For many years now, Marriott Hotel Alzamalek management and employees have been offering an annual donation in appreciation for the Hospital’s efforts towards children with cancer within the Hotel’s social corporate responsibility commitment.
Throughout the years, the Hotel’s support was not restricted to donations as they used to share our children the celebration of different occasions such as Ramadan and the New Year, by decorating the Hospital and presenting gifts to the children. Moreover 57357children are invited to spend a day at the Hotel where an entertainment party was organized for them.
The Hotel manager Mr. Jürgen Sterkau expressed his appreciation for the Hospital’s role in maintaining their provision of high quality medical care for children with cancer amid challenging circumstances such as the Corona world pandemic.
In a meeting between the representative of 57357 Foundation’s hotels’ outreach department and Marriott’s General Manager, a protocol was signed to include more aspects of cooperation such as organizing awareness campaigns, vitamin D campaigns and blood donation campaigns for the Hotel staff, besides enabling them to benefit from the diagnostic and laboratory services provided by the Hospital at a competitive cost where the revenue from these services is considered a donation. They also discussed the potential of giving the Hotel guests the chance to share in the charity and donate to the Hospital. They also discussed the possibility of contacting the general management of Marriott Hotels in Egypt and arrange for a meeting through Zoom to discuss cooperation possibilities. The Hotel manager received a painting by the child Hana, one of 57357’s heroes, wish him and his staff a Happy New Year.
