Hospital 57357 welcomed Mr. Sherif Alsaeed, CIB Foundation director, accompanied by CIB program planners, Ms. Dina Ahmed, Ms. Lugein Hussein and Ms. Ireeni Safwat. The visit falls within the continuous support provided by the Bank and its Foundation to 57357’s children, as they believe in the worthiness of the Hospital mission of  providing free quality comprehensive care to children with cancer.

The cooperation protocol was signed in coordination with the 57357 Foundation’s banks outreach department. The protocol includes a generous donation by the bank to support our children’s treatment journey. After the signing formality, the guests toured the Hospital’s sections, visiting the radiology department and the new pathology lab. Mr. Alsaeed stressed the importance of supporting healthcare providers who offer free services to children with cancer and boosting their capabilities.

The CIB Foundation is one of Hospital 57357’s strongest supporters. Throughout the years they have been contributing to the realization of our children’s dream of cure. With the start of 2021, the Bank pursued its support by providing its annual donation which is one facet of the cooperation with the Hospital, as CIB is the Hospital’s official Bank.

Through this cooperation, the CIB Foundation offered the Hospital latest medical equipment such as the intra operative magnetic resonance imaging device, IMRI, and the new PET/CT device for the nuclear department, besides upgrading the old one so that we can meet the increased demand for this service. They also supported the procedural care unit by contributing to the upgrading of all the Hospital’s infusion and syringes pumps to ensure accuracy in the medication doses administered to children, and upgrading patients’ monitors in the intensive care and bone marrow transplantation units.

On behalf of Hospital 57357’s children, we are expressing our sincere gratitude to the CIB Foundation, our charity partner along the road.
