Signing a memorandum of understanding between the 57357 foundation and the African Asian Union of Women

    Hospital 57357’s 14 years of operation, we welcomed a delegation from the African Asian Union for women headed by secretary general Mrs. Amal Masoud.

On the same day of the celebration of Hospital 57357’s 14 years of operation, we welcomed a delegation from the African Asian Union for women headed by secretary general Mrs. Amal Masoud, accompanied by a group of members and directors of civil associations (the Positive Interaction Association, Together We Will Continue Association, Plant A Tree Initiative, Our Good Ethics Initiative, Back To Values Association for services, South Sudan Mothers Association, Vine Branches Association for development in south Sudan). They were also accompanied by business men and a group of the Egyptian Parliament members.

The guests were welcomed by the Executive Director of the 57357 group and the Hospital’s General Manager along with a group of 57357 management. In his speech the Hospital General Manager welcomed the guests and presented a brief about the Hospital’s 14 years of operation, the challenges it faced, the important role played by civil society associations in cooperation with the state, and the importance of volunteering work.

Within the framework of integration of state institutions and civil society associations’ efforts to increase awareness and collaboration in the fight against cancer, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the 57357 foundation and the African Asian union for women to activate cooperation in the domain of community services. The cooperation includes carrying out visits to the Hospital’s children and donation campaigns to contribute to the Hospital’s expansion, blood donation campaigns besides benefiting from 57357’s experience in the field of cancer and healthy nutrition awareness and putting it on the Union’s official website.

In her speech Mrs. Masoud asserted that the cooperation they are seeking aims at enabling the Hospital to pursue its mission of providing the best quality care to children. She praised the Hospital’s work team and revealed that each of the entities that came today to 57357 will contribute to supporting the 57357 Institution. She mentioned that the “plant a tree” initiative which will plant trees and flowers in the Hospital’s garden, to guaranty a source of oxygen and wellbeing for the patients.
