Hospital 57357 is an example of a worthy national achievement
Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar, minister of Awqaf said that, we are once again capable of shaping human civilization, and our religion encourages social work and spending money for charity. He quoted the verse; “Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend – indeed, Allah is Knowing of it”, and the verse “O Believers, expend in Allah`s Way the best portion of the wealth you have earned and of that We have produced for you from the earth, and do not pick out for charity those worthless things which you yourselves would only accept in disdain by connivance, if they were offered to you”. He referred to lady Aisha, profit Mohamed’s wife, who used to perfume the charity money before donating them, when she was asked for the reason she said: because they are laid in God’s hands before the charity receivers’ hands.
The abovementioned verses were quoted during the seminar that was held at the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 titled “social work and its role in developing the society” which was attended by the minister of Awqaf who was invited by Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga, the Hospital’s general manager.
The minister praised the important social role assumed by the 57357 hospital and institution, which, according to him, is considered a quality change agent in the provision of free medical services not just in Egypt but in the whole world. He described the Hospital as a humanitarian and cultural landmark. He revealed that Hospital 57357 is providing medical services with a humanitarian spirit and that it is not just a children’s cancer Hospital, but a scientific and research institution that demonstrates the Egyptians’ ability to produce valuable scientific achievements. He revealed the imminence of an upcoming cooperation between the ministry represented by Aldoaa hospital and 57357. The cooperation will include medical awareness seminars specially in the field of preventive medicine, experiences exchange and sharing in conferences such as the ninth conference of Aldoaa hospital titled “latest findings in treating liver and digestive diseases”. Also, the 57357 institution would offer training opportunities in clinical parmacy to two pharmacists from Aldoaa Hospital
The minister of Awqaf thanked all staff of Hospital 57357 affirming that it is a healthcare model worthy of support and praise.
