The United Arab Emirates Ambassador in Egypt visits Hospital 57357

    Hospital 57357 welcomed HE Dr. Hamad Saeed Alshamesi, UAE Ambassador in Egypt and the permanent representative in the Arab Leagu.

Yesterday, Monday, April 12, 2021, Hospital 57357 welcomed HE Dr. Hamad Saeed Alshamesi, UAE Ambassador in Egypt and the permanent representative in the Arab League, accompanied by consultant Saleh Alkaabi and Mr. Saleh Alsaadi, media advisor of the embassy. The guests were welcomed by 57357 Group Executive Director and the Hospital’s General Manager along with a members of the Hospital management.

After a warm welcome to the Ambassador at the Hospital entrance by the children, HE went to the auditorium to attend a presentation and short documentary about the Hospital’s vision, mission, and objectives. The documentary also included a recollection of each and every Hospital area receiving support from the Sheikh Zayed family since 57357’s inception, and giving tribute to this esteemed family whose members have been our staunched supporters along the years. To name but a few of their generous contributions: the latest PET-CT equipment, the sheikha Gawaher Alkasemi’s annual donation, and sponsoring a charity Zayed marathon in favor of Hospital 57357

The Emirati delegation toured the Hospital and visited the day care where the ambassador chatted with our little patients and offered them presents. When he visited the art therapy workshop he listened carefully to Ms. Amany the responsible of the art space, on how art therapy affects children’s psychological condition as they get a chance to express their fear and anger and how it acts like physiotherapy with children with brain tumors as they are trained them to move their hands. He also visited the research lab where he was informed about their involvement in research on COVID-19 in cooperation with Alqasr Al-Einy Hospital.

At the end of the visit the Ambassador expressed his appreciation of the Hospital as a unique project in the Middle East. He also praised 57357’s quality management and advanced research department.
