Work in the laundry department depends on evidence-based practices and the commitment of all of its workers to safety measures throughout the laundry phases, starting with the collection phase to the classification, distribution in washing machines, sanitization and ironing then delivery to the different departments, ultimately reaching the patient clean and sanitized which secures a healthy environment for him.
As time passes and with the increase in number of patients, the laundry needs renovation and capacity increase to enable it to deliver quality service.
