With the support of all charitable people who are always standing behind our children, Hospital 57357 is able to pursue its mission. Yesterday we met Am (uncle) Ibrahim, 90 years old, in the Hospital’s donation office where he came by himself to offer a generous donation to contribute to our children’s treatment journey. We thanked him for his determination to come despite the  fatigue of the trip and he said: I am donating  to this Hospital since its inception. With the establishment of this Hospital you are saving the entire nation as you are providing treatment for poor children who wouldn’t find such high quality free care elsewhere. I shall come by myself to donate as long as I am able to walk, he added.

We chatted with Mr. Hesham, a business man who also came to offer a donation : I believe in the hadith saying “The wealth of a man will not diminish by Sadaka” and the reward of sadaka is multiplied, it is good for man and for his money. Children cannot bear the pain of such a dreadful disease, hence our support and help is a humanitarian and moral obligation, They are as precious to us as our own children. Every time I visit the hospital I see an international standard of care that relies on evidence-based practices, kind and merciful  care of patients  and concern for their psychological well-being, I can see many of them have already recovered. I participated in the sadaka Jariyah program, in the name of my mother, in Tanta branch during its establishment and in the new expansions. My mother got sick last month and I am asking you to pray for her. I am proud of being a son of Mrs. Shwikar who raised me to become a charity giver. 57357’s children will always be in my heart and I shall support them in their fight against cancer as long as I am alive, he added.

Our heartfelt gratitude for Am Ibrahim and Mr. Hesham for their continuous giving journey in favor of our children with cancer.

In this respect, we shall recall Profit Mohamed’s saying: “When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).
