The CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System is the world’s first surgical radiation system designed to treat tumors all over the body.

Both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors and recurrent cases that previously had radiotherapy anywhere in the body, including the prostate, lung, brain, spine, liver, pancreas and kidneys by directing high doses of radiation with great accuracy without attacking the healthy tissues surrounding the tumor without being affected by movement and the patient’s breathing, Therefore, the patient should not be immobilized, as Cyber Knife’s guidance cameras locate the tumor in the body by means of a x-ray cameras, as the robotic arm moves around the patient completely freely to collect highly focused beams of radiation and hit the tumor.

The Cyber Knife provides a non-invasive, pain-free option as it is the advanced version of the Linear Accelerator by directing high doses of photon rays with pinpoint accuracy using stereoscopic kV images while preserving the surrounding cells, making them accurate and extremely safe. From receiving 42 radiation sessions, this number drops to a maximum of 5 sessions due to its accuracy.
