Our training program aims to provide the theoretical, practical and regulatory background to understand the operations of a biobank, to encourage bilateral exchange of knowledge and skills across different groups interested in human biospecimen procurement, storage, and distribution for clinical research.

Candidates who have completed this training would be able to:

  • Understand the basic principles of biobanking (Ethics, Privacy and Security).
  • Classify the different types of biobanks and their operational aspects.
  • Understand the principles of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
