Education and Training
In collaboration with “APIC”, the prominent international Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, 57357 organized and offered training courses. CCHE-57357 is now a certified APIC center. The first cohort of trainees were exclusively Egyptian healthcare professionals, who consequently became certified trainers for professionals in their own settings.
The team also provides training for the Hospital staff and patients’ families in the work place on infection control procedures and its application using innovative ways such as “Puzzle Card”. They also provide regular awareness campaigns during the year.
Residency programs in the field of infection control and prevention
The practical application of the infection control residency started since September 2019. Considered the first and unique program in this field worldwide, this 2 years’ program will enable the trainee to acquire the necessary expertise in this domain.
