Hospital 57357’s continuous education and development department organized a pediatric oncology education day for the students of Faculties of Medicine.Diverse delegations of residency year students  and graduates of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universities of Ain Shams, Kasr Eleiny, October and Modern Egypt participated in the event.
The day program included meetings with a group of 57357’s physicians who presented the Hospital’s experience in treating children’s cancer and the work methodology of the different oncology departments. Dr. Mona Mohamed, gave a lecture on the types of cancers specially those which affect children. Dr. Ahmed Salah presented the latest diagnostic tools and treatments of children’s cancer. Dr. Ahmed Mahdi, presented a brief about  training programs available for medical students at Hospital 57357. Finally, Dr. Taghrid Elshafie gave a lecture about children’s psychotherapy in 57357.
The students also met with Dr. Sherif Abouel Naga, Hospital 57357’s CEO accompanied by the sports analyst Ahemd Ezzeldin, who gave a lecture about how to use scientific theories in building strong sports teams and the vital role of science in the advancement of nations, entities and institutions.
In his speech, Dr. Abouel Naga highlighted Hospital 57357’s constant pursuit to spread education and knowledge, by following atypical styles of handling science,  through a diversity of training programs, and enabling the integration of life experiences to break the typical manner of academic classes and encourage more participation and involvement of students.
At the end of the day, students visited the Hospital’s different sections and gave their
Feedback on the day ‘s activities. They expressed their satisfaction with the day’s proceedings, the useful information they received and the Hospital tour. Meanwhile some of them expressed their desire to include more lectures in the day.
