Within the framework of their corporate social responsibility and their desire to support the cause of Egypt’s children with cancer, Shira Group, the official agent of North America Hunter Co. in Egypt which is specialized in trading landscape irrigation networks, visited Hospital 57357 to support its children with cancer.

They were welcomed by Mr. Islam Ramadan, team member of the unit for the outreach to companies at the 57357 Foundation, who joined them on a tour of the Hospital sections. The delegation listened to a detailed presentation about the Hospital, its development stages and the most important projects it is currently undertaking namely the cyberknife and the proton therapy technologies.

Eng. Hani Wadea, the Company CEO, and the accompanying delegation visited our children in the daycare where they appreciated the smart infusion pumps which are equipped with a monitoring system, and a technique to adjust the chemotherapy flow rate which prevent human errors.

They also visited the clinical pharmacy, where they were impressed by the chemotherapy preparation process which is done electronically through a robotic system.

The delegation offered children gifts that delighted them and took pictures with them. At the end of the visit, Eng. Wadea gave a generous donation to support the healing journey of children with cancer. The Company’s employees also offered personal donations in their names.
